They were once Hollywood’s golden couple. But behind the red carpet smiles, cracks were spreading in Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban’s marriage.
Now insiders claim the pair have sensationally split after nearly two decades together.
Kidman, 58, and Urban, 57, share two teenage daughters. But sources say distance, touring, and a growing coldness have pulled them apart.
“Keith never sees Nicole,” one insider told the Daily Mail. “She’s on set. He’s on tour. They’re just going through the motions.”
It’s understood Urban was the one who pushed for a break. He allegedly “called her out” about being unhappy, leaving Kidman blindsided.
“The intimacy isn’t there,” the source added. “He loves her, but something had to change. Maybe the time apart will fix it.”
Separate Lives
While Kidman holds the fort in Nashville with daughters Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14, Urban has been away on his High and Alive World Tour.
He’s reportedly moved into his own place in Nashville, leaving behind their $4 million family compound.
Meanwhile, Kidman spent her summer filming Practical Magic 2 in London, paying £65,000 a month for Boy George’s old Hampstead mansion.
Insiders in Australia claim the couple “went their separate ways” after Nicole’s mother passed away last year. Daily phone calls weren’t enough to bridge the distance.
Signs of trouble have been bubbling for months. In July, Urban abruptly ended a radio interview after being asked about Kidman’s steamy scenes in her latest films.
And last year, while promoting her Netflix drama The Perfect Couple, Kidman herself admitted: “There’s no perfect marriage. Anything presented as perfect… forget it.”
A Hollywood Love Story Unravels
The pair married in 2006 after a whirlwind romance, raising their two daughters mostly in Nashville.
But after 19 years, it looks like the fairy tale has hit a breaking point.
Kidman, previously married to Tom Cruise for 11 years, is said to be focused on her children as the dust settles.
Urban, meanwhile, turns 58 next month. Friends say the coming holiday season could decide whether this is a pause—or the end.
