Erika Kirk has stunned the world with a powerful announcement following the tragic death of her husband, Charlie Kirk.
Charlie, founder of Turning Point USA, was fatally shot in the neck earlier this month on September 10.
Two weeks later, his widow, 36-year-old Erika, made a rare and emotional appearance on The Charlie Kirk Show.
The appearance came just days after a massive memorial service at State Farm Stadium in Arizona.
Reports suggest over 100,000 people queued outside, desperate to pay their respects to the conservative activist.
A message of forgiveness
Erika, a mother of two, stepped onto the stage during the ceremony to deliver a deeply moving speech.
She spoke of her husband’s mission to save young men, even extending grace to the man accused of killing him.
Through tears, she said: “He wanted to save young men. Just like the one who took his life.”
“I forgive him because it was what Christ did. And what Charlie would do,” she added.
Her words of forgiveness shocked many in attendance, but also highlighted the strength of her faith.
Authorities confirmed the accused gunman, 22-year-old Tyler Robinson, faces seven serious charges.
These include aggravated murder, felony discharge of a firearm, obstruction of justice, witness tampering, and crimes committed around children.
Robinson remains in custody at Utah County Jail without bail, held in a special housing unit.
Prosecutors have already signaled their intent to pursue the death penalty.
Erika’s vow on the podcast
While her forgiveness was powerful, Erika’s biggest announcement came later on her husband’s own podcast.
She confirmed that The Charlie Kirk Show will not be ending despite his sudden and tragic death.
“The Charlie Kirk Show is not going anywhere,” Erika declared.
“My husband’s voice will live on. The show will go on.”
She explained the podcast will now feature rotating hosts and a diverse cast of contributors.
Her aim is to ensure the show continues to serve as “the north star of the conservative movement.”
“It will remain the voice of the youth, of the base, and that will not end,” she said.
Continuing his legacy
Erika also revealed plans to keep Charlie’s “American Comeback Tour” alive, visiting college campuses across the United States.
She insisted that his message and mission will never be silenced.
“We’ll never be silenced,” she told listeners.
“Continuing his platform in a beautiful, honorable way will reinforce that he will never be silenced.”
“My husband’s voice will go on.”
Her words have already struck a chord online, with thousands praising her bravery and commitment to Charlie’s vision.
