Selena Gomez has had a pretty dramatic start to the year to say the least, but it looks like some good has come of it.
It’s had to believe that this all started over an eyebrow lamination gone wrong…

After Selena posted a story of her eyebrow lamination, (which is essentially a treatment that lifts up your brows to look permanently fluffy) gone wrong, Jenner later posted two stories that got fan’s eyebrows raising. (No pun intended).
The Keeping up with the Kardashians star shared a selfie with the caption ”this was an accident” over her eyebrows.
The second was a screenshot of her on FaceTime to friend Hailey Bieber, where the pair both zoomed in to just be showing their eyebrows. – Either suspicious, or very bad timing.

Jenner, 25, initially put the rumours of bad blood between her and Gomez, 30, to rest, after viral TikTok’s about the drama were already circulating.
“This is reaching,” Jenner declared. “No shade towards Selena ever and I didn’t see her eyebrow posts! U guys are making something out of nothing. This is silly.”
It doesn’t end there, and instead, gets worse.
Hailey Bieber, who took part in the FaceTime shenanigans with Jenner, is actually married to Justin Bieber. – Who if you didn’t know, was actually in a very public on and off relationship with Gomez for over 8 years.
Naturally, fans thinks think this gives Hailey motive behind her digs, as she has previously been accused of copying and ‘mocking’ Gomez’s behaviour multiple times in the past.
The drama was all a bit much for Gomez, however, and in February she told fans she would be taking a break from social media, as ‘this was silly’ and that she was ‘too old for this’.
But now, the ex-Disney star has no choice but to get back online, after her ‘feud’ with Kylie Jenner and Hailey Bieber actually resulted in her becoming the most followed woman on Instagram.
And you’ll never guess who she took the title from. Yep, Kylie Jenner.
After gaining over 10 million followers, Gomez has now reached 400 million, making her the first woman to reach 400 million followers on Instagram.
The drama didn’t work in favour of Kylie Jenner however, who lost over 1 million. It initially dropped by 124,711 followers, Social Blade data observes.
She ended up losing almost one million followers on Instagram with a total loss topping in at a hefty 750,000 followers on Monday (27 February).
Jenner still remains in second place for title of Instagram’s most followed woman, but it looks like Gomez is pretty far ahead.
