A former cleaner has revealed she now makes $275,000 (£200,000) a year on OnlyFans – thanks to her uncanny resemblance to Princess Diana.
Lauren Spencer, 47, from Exeter, says she has often been compared to the late Princess of Wales. Since joining the platform in April 2021, she’s built a legion of fans who request everything from saucy videos to recreations of Diana’s most iconic photos.
Lauren has swapped cleaning jobs for creating content on the subscription platform – and now plans to use her earnings to set up an animal rescue centre.
After selling her housekeeping business during the pandemic, Lauren turned to webcamming in 2020 before moving onto OnlyFans the following year. She now earns around $23,000 a month and is ranked in the top 0.5% of creators.
“I was so shocked when I started to get popular,” she said speaking to WalesOnline. “Lots of people suggest I look like Princess Diana which is very flattering. She was beautiful. I’m natural and older than most, but I love it.”
Lauren says she has the same “height, weight and build” as Diana and even “kind of sounds like her,” which has led fans to dub her the “Princess of soft porn.”
Some subscribers even ask her to recreate Diana’s famous see-through skirt photo, or read poetry as though she were the late royal. “Sometimes it’s something innocent, like a meaningful poem,” she explained.
Her husband Charlie, 52, has been supportive from the very beginning. He helps behind the scenes and encourages her work. “He likes that guys are looking at me – he’s not the jealous type,” Lauren said.
Lauren has even won four awards for live streaming and content creation since dedicating herself fully to the platform in 2022. She says the work has left her feeling “amazing” about herself – and her husband “loves it too.”
But for Lauren, the goal isn’t just financial gain. She says she’s using the income to fund her dream of buying land and setting up a rescue centre for animals.
“It’s all for our dream of helping animals,” she explained. “Diana was crazy about helping people. I’m like that with animals. I love what I do – it’s empowering.”
