A restaurant in Fallbrook, California, has recently received criticism for playing the US national anthem every day during meal times.
While many people view themselves as patriotic and proud of their country, some argue that there is a time and place for such displays.
The Rainbow Oaks Restaurant, however, continues to have its patrons stand up every day to sing the national anthem…
Footage of the daily patriotic ritual was posted on TikTok by a user named @paulinappa_0.
In the video, around a dozen people can be seen standing by the bar area as the Star-Spangled Banner plays loudly on the TV screen.
Captioning the post, the TikToker wrote: “By far the most dangerous situation I’ve ever been in,” while using various hashtags such as #godblessamerica, #getout, #illegal, and #whitepeoplethings.

Since its upload last week, the post has gone viral, amassing more than 3.4 million views, 580,000 likes, and 23,000 comments.
Many viewers were not impressed with the video, with one person commenting, “Yeah no, stopped doing it in school awhile ago and the rage & hate I felt around me was insane.”
Another questioned the authenticity of the video, asking, “Serious question. Is this real? Like people actually do this in real everyday life?”
Meanwhile, a third viewer remarked, “This feels like a horror movie.”
