Mia Khalifa Claims she was Pressured to get into Adult Films by her Ex-Husband

Mia Khalifa, whose real name is Sarah Joe Chamoun, recently discussed her experiences in the adult entertainment industry and shared her thoughts on what she desires in a romantic partner.

Despite her immense popularity and potential suitors lining up for a chance to date her, Khalifa revealed that she has found it challenging to establish a meaningful relationship.

Furthermore, she expressed openness to dating women, indicating that gender is not a determining factor for her.

Following her split from her ex-husband in 2014 and subsequent divorce in 2016, Khalifa has attributed her entry into the adult entertainment industry to his encouragement, which she now perceives as a form of f*tishization.

However, she acknowledged that she hasn’t actively pursued relationships, considering her commitments to managing three businesses and maintaining a significant social media following.

During a conversation on The Diary of a CEO YouTube channel with host Steven Bartlett, Khalifa candidly shared her perspective on dating. She revealed, “I’m not trying. I’ve been a serial monogamist for a while. I got out of a longish term relationship, it’s difficult, but I also haven’t tried. I don’t know what I’m expecting. I haven’t entered the dating world in probably six years because I’ve been involved in long-term relationships.”

Bartlett inquired about the qualities Khalifa looks for in a potential partner.

Her response reflects the challenging journey she has been through. She emphasized the importance of emotional intelligence and a healthy relationship with therapy, explaining that she seeks someone who is self-aware, actively works on personal growth, and understands the fluctuations and complexities of life and emotions.

She clarified that these fluctuations should not lead to toxic behaviors but rather require additional support beyond one’s usual capacity.

Bartlett commented on the observation that men are not always known for their emotional intelligence. Khalifa laughed and replied, “I’m not ruling out women.”

Since transitioning out of the adult entertainment industry, Khalifa has garnered significant attention on social media platforms. She has amassed an impressive following of 27.6 million on Instagram alone, establishing herself as a prominent personality.
