Madonna’s teenage sons, David Banda, 17, and Rocco Ritchie, 22, appeared visibly tense in their first public appearance since the news of their mother’s hospitalisation emerged.
This incident occurred after Madonna was found ‘unresponsive’ in New York and subsequently admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU). Her manager, Guy Oseary, shared the details, stating, “On Saturday, June 24, Madonna developed a serious bacterial infection which led to a several-day stay in the ICU.” Concerns over her health were so grave that her family members were bracing themselves for the worst.
Providing an update on Madonna’s condition, Oseary took to Instagram to assure fans that she is expected to fully recover. He wrote, “Her health is improving; however, she is still under medical care. A full recovery is expected.” Consequently, Madonna made the difficult decision to postpone her upcoming tour, which was slated to kick off in Vancouver on July 15. Oseary stated, “At this time we will need to pause all commitments, which includes the tour.”
Amidst the tumultuous circumstances, Madonna’s eldest son, Rocco Ritchie, was spotted looking visibly tense as he ran errands in New York. He had recently flown in from Romania. Rocco, who shares his father’s name, was seen carrying a sisable bag as he made his way to Madonna’s apartment in the Big Apple.
