Kylie Jenner Denied Access to Doja Cat’s Met Gala Afterparty

Reality TV star Kylie Jenner was reportedly denied access to the afterparty hosted by Doja Cat, Richie Akiva, and Diddy following the Met Gala.
Witnesses claim that Jenner walked away from the party before even entering as the venue was over capacity.
A source revealed to Page Six, “They shut the door down because it was over capacity.”
Jenner was apparently invited and planned to enter the party through a discreet side door.
However, she got out of the car before the event organisers were ready for her.
The source added, “She prematurely got out of her car. Then she decided to go home because she didn’t want to be at a crowded party. She rarely goes to clubs.”
Jenner’s sister, Kendall Jenner, and her beau, Bad Bunny, were already inside the party when she arrived after midnight.
However, the late hour and over 100 hopeful party-goers clamoring to get in made it a chaotic scene.
According to another source, Janelle Monae, Gossip Girl actor Evan Mock, and approximately 200 people were also turned away as the venue was already at capacity.
“The door was rushed by crowds many times,” a third source told Page Six, which fits reports that police were present to manage the crowds and clear the sidewalk. One witness reported, “At 6 a.m., a line of limos and SUVs were down the street.”
Other celebrities who made it to the party included Gisele Bündchen, Emily Ratajkowski, Mary J Blige, Lil Nas X, Paris Hilton, Naomi Campbell, Edward Enninful, and Jared Leto. Chris Rock hit the dance floor, co-host Diddy took the mic for 20 minutes, and the waiters were dressed like Karl Lagerfeld.
This wasn’t the first time Jenner and Doja Cat have had an awkward interaction.
Cameras captured an awkward exchange between the two at Paris Fashion Week in January. T
he clip showed the pair acknowledging each other as cameras flashed in the background, with what appeared to be some serious passive-aggressive energy.
When their eyes awkwardly met, Doja tipped her head and said, “Nice to meet you,” as Jenner looked her up and down.
Despite being denied entry to the afterparty, Kylie Jenner didn’t seem to be too bothered about it. She later took to Instagram to share a series of photos from the Met Gala event.
