Jennifer Aniston has finally confirmed a long-standing rumor about David Schwimmer – and fans can’t believe it.
The actress starred as Rachel Green for 10 seasons of Friends, opposite Schwimmer’s Ross Geller.
Their on-off romance was central to the series and kept viewers hooked for years.
But fans always wondered if the chemistry extended beyond the TV set.
Now, Aniston has answered the question once and for all.
She appeared on Live with Kelly and Mark when Kelly Ripa raised the subject.
“In the early years, you [and Schwimmer] had a crush on each other,” Ripa said.
Without hesitation, Aniston replied: “Yes we did.”
That short confirmation sent social media into meltdown, with fans flooding X and TikTok with reactions.
The topic has come up before, most notably during Friends: The Reunion.
Back then, Schwimmer admitted to having a “major crush” on his co-star in the first season.
Aniston also admitted feelings, but said their timing was always off.
“One of us was always in a relationship,” she said.
The pair never acted on their attraction, instead “letting it play out on TV.”
Schwimmer revealed they’d often cuddle during breaks, leaving castmates suspicious.
He said: “We’d spoon and fall asleep on the couch. Everyone must have known we were crushing.”
Aniston echoed his thoughts in a later interview with Howard Stern.
She stressed that, while they cared deeply for one another, they “never crossed that boundary.”
But the latest admission still gave fans the moment they had waited decades for.
Host Ryan Seacrest pushed the conversation further.
“So, was your first kiss a TV kiss?” he asked.
“Yes,” Aniston answered, smiling.
She explained their first kiss happened in the iconic Central Perk coffee shop.
“It was quite enjoyable, actually,” she added, joking that they poured all their feelings into Ross and Rachel.
Fans online are now calling the confession “legendary” and “the closure we needed.”
