Iconic Talk Show Host Jerry Springer Looked Healthy in Final Interview Before Death

Renowned talk show host Jerry Springer had a cheerful and healthy appearance during his final interview before passing away at 79.

According to RadarOnline.com, the former mayor of Cincinnati, whose provocative daytime show became a cultural phenomenon, joined reality TV stars Nicole “Snooki” LaValle and Deena Buckner on their MTV show Meatball Show, which aired in August 2022.

With the aid of Deena’s husband, Chris, and their fellow Jersey Shore co-star Angelina Pivarnick, Jerry entered the set and was welcomed with a chorus of “Jerry, Jerry, Jerry!” by the hosts.

As they introduced themselves, Springer admitted to having watched a couple of episodes of Jersey Shore.

Snooki and Deena expressed their gratitude towards him, with Snooki stating that they wouldn’t be where they are today without him.

“You brought reality TV to where it is,” Snooki said. Jerry humbly replied, “I apologize.”

Deena, who used to be a fan of his contentious daytime talk show, also expressed her appreciation for his contribution to the genre.

Snooki then humorously asked if she could call him “daddy,” to which Springer responded, “I am not the father.”

This remark was a reference to the explosive paternity drama that was a staple of his show. “Could we at least have a test?” he quipped.

Springer was in high spirits throughout the interview, and the hosts’ appreciation for his influence on reality TV was a testament to his lasting impact on the genre.

He will be missed in the industry, RIP.
