Erika Kirk Shares Heartbreaking Baby Confession After Charlie Kirk’s Passing

Charlie Kirk’s widow has shared a devastating confession two months after losing her husband.

Erika Kirk has spoken several times since his death in September, often describing the shock that tore her family apart.

The 31-year-old conservative activist was shot and killed on a Utah university campus while hosting an event there.

Police later arrested 22-year-old Tyler Robinson, who now awaits trial and is next due in court in January.

Investigators said Robinson had become “more political” in recent years, though the full motive remains unclear.

It took officials 33 hours to track down and arrest the suspect after the shooting.

Kirk’s funeral was held at State Farm Stadium in Arizona and drew huge national attention.

Erika Kirk Opens Up About Grief, Trauma and Her Husband’s Final Moments

Since Kirk’s death, Erika has given multiple interviews and described the moment she learned he had been shot.

Speaking about her grief, she said: “One day you’re collapsed on the floor crying out the name Jesus in between labored breaths.”

She continued: “The next you’re playing with your children in the living room, surrounded by family photos, and feeling a rush of something you can only attempt to define as divinely planted and bittersweet joy as a smile breaks through on your face.”

Erika also addressed the disturbing video that circulated online showing footage of her husband’s final moments.

“I never saw the video, I never will see it, I never want to see it,” she said.

“There’s certain things you see in your life that you can never unsee, there’s certain things you see that mark your soul forever, and I don’t want my husband’s public assassination to be something I ever see.”

She added: “I don’t want my kids to ever see that.”

Erika went on to criticise people who watched the video for entertainment.

She said: “And for the people who actually enjoy watching that, which is quite literally sick, what if that was your father? Or your brother, sister, there’s a perspective shift there.”

She continued: “We’re human, life is fragile. And there is so much beauty in the world, why would you spend time looking at something so evil?”

Erika Defends Her Marriage, Relaunches Charlie Kirk’s Show and Addresses Viral Rumours

Following Kirk’s death, Erika announced that The Charlie Kirk Show would continue.

She told supporters: “The Charlie Kirk Show is not going anywhere.”

“My husband’s voice will live on. The show will go on. We will have rotating hosts, rotating casts, rotating people coming on.”

She added: “It is going to be continually the north star of the conservative movement, of the voice of the youth, of the voice of the base, and that will not end.”

However, Erika soon faced unexpected headlines of her own.

Her relationship with Vice President JD Vance was widely questioned after the pair shared an “inappropriate” hug at an event in Mississippi.

During the moment, Erika brushed Vance’s hair, while Vance’s hand dropped to her hip when they separated.

The clip sparked online speculation and dragged Vance’s wife, Usha, into the spotlight.

Usha was later seen without her wedding ring, which only fuelled the rumours.

Charlie and Erika shared two children: a three-year-old daughter and a one-year-old son.

The couple had planned to expand their family in the coming years.

Now, Erika is urging young women not to delay having children, calling it the “greatest gift.”

Speaking to Megyn Kelly, she said: “When I see young couples, I tell them please, don’t put it off. Especially if you’re a young woman.”

“You can always have a career, you can always go back to work.”

“You can never just go back to having children, and they grow so fast and so quickly.”

Then came her most heartbreaking confession yet.

“We were really excited to just expand our family,” she said.

“We wanted to have four.”

“And I was praying to God that I was pregnant when he got murdered… I was like, ‘Oh goodness, that would be the ultimate blessing out of this catastrophe.’”

Kelly responded: “Thank God you have the two.”
