Bruce Willis Becomes Grandad – Daughter Rumer Welcomes Baby

Rumer Willis, the firstborn child of the Hollywood couple Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, has welcomed her first child with her partner Derek Richard Thomas.

The couple announced the birth of their daughter on Tuesday, April 25, on Instagram.

Rumer, who is 34 years old, had previously revealed that her parents were excited to meet their first grandchild.

The arrival of the new baby was particularly meaningful for the family as they support Bruce after his diagnosis with frontotemporal dementia.

The couple shared the name they had chosen for their daughter in the Instagram post: “Louetta Isley Thomas Willis. You are pure magic. Born at home on Tuesday April 18th. You are more than we ever dreamed of.”

The post received many comments from well-wishers, including Hilary Duff, Jenna Dewan, and Peta Murgatroyd, who congratulated the couple on their new arrival.

Family members also shared their joy in the comments section, with Moore writing, “Pure love for this little birdie.”

Emma Heming Willis, Bruce’s wife, also shared her excitement in a separate Instagram post, writing, “Baby news is happy news!!! Congratulations @rumerwillis and @derekrichardthomas We are elated over here!”

Rumer’s pregnancy was a surprise announcement to her followers on Instagram, as she shared the news about a month after making her relationship with Thomas Instagram-official.

The new baby is a welcome addition to the blended family of Bruce and Demi, who have remained close despite their divorce in 2000.

Rumer has been open about her struggles with addiction and celebrated six years of sobriety in January.

She expressed gratitude for the lessons and gifts she had received in the past year and expressed her excitement about becoming a mother. “I’m so grateful this little soul chose me to have the privilege of being their mama,” she wrote.

Congratulations!
