Britney Spears has raised concerns among her fans after sharing a disturbing video that featured her with a bandaged finger, though the post was swiftly deleted from her Instagram account.
On Sunday, the 41-year-old pop star posted a 47-second video in which she danced while wearing a black body-form cut-out top and cheetah print bottoms. Completing the look were calf-length heeled boots and her signature makeup, featuring thick black eyeliner and a nude lip. Notably, one of her index fingers was wrapped in a white bandage, which drew attention and worry from her 42.2 million followers.
Although the video was removed from her Instagram, some fans managed to save and repost it on TikTok to garner a larger audience. TikTok users expressed their concerns in the comments, with some describing the situation as “bizarre.”
One user stated, “This is bizarre,” while another expressed sympathy, saying they “just feel bad for [her].” A third user even referenced a previous video, which had also sparked concern among her fans, commenting, “That k*ife must’ve been sharp with that bandage on your finger.”

The referenced video from September 25 still remains on Spears’ Instagram account. It features the singer dancing with large kitchen knives as props, with her caption explaining that they are not real knives: “I started playing in the kitchen with k*ives today!!! Don’t worry they are NOT real k*ives!!! Halloween is soon.”
Subsequently, Spears shared another video dancing with the prop knives but added a more detailed clarification: “I know I spooked everyone with the last post, but these are fake k*ives that my team rented from Hand Prop shop in LA. These are not real k*ives… No one needs to worry or call the police. I’m trying to imitate one of my favorite performers Shakira… a performance I was inspired by!!! Cheers to us bad girls who aren’t afraid to push boundaries and take risks.”
Following the second video, it appears that someone contacted the police for a welfare check on the singer. Spears addressed this incident in a subsequent post, expressing her dissatisfaction with the situation.
“So unacceptable for cops to listen to random fans and come in to my home unwarranted,” she wrote alongside a photo of someone standing on a pair of knives while wearing ballet shoes. Spears added, “Can I make calls and make others feel threatened in your home??? The officers came to my home and said they would not leave until they spoke to me as people did 4-minute performances with knives.”
She continued by stating that she deserves an apology and has faced bullying within her own home for a long time. Spears emphasized the need for accountability for one’s actions and expressed her frustration with the use of power by law enforcement.
