Vanessa Hudgens is officially a mom of two.
The High School Musical star, 36, announced the news on Instagram with a photo holding hands with her husband, pro athlete Cole Tucker, while resting in a hospital bed.
She wrote: “Well…. I did it. Had another baby!!! What a wild ride labor is. Big shout out to all the moms. It’s truly incredible what our bodies can do.”
Fans had been speculating all week after noticing recent photos showed her without a baby bump. Turns out, the clues were there all along.
Back in July, Vanessa confirmed she was expecting again, captioning a sweet announcement post: “Round two!!!!”
Hudgens and Tucker already share one child, their first baby together. The couple are now celebrating their growing family, and supporters online are thrilled to see their happiness continue.
Fans Spotted Clues Before She Confirmed It
Thanksgiving posts sparked serious suspicion.
She shared a sunny beachside photo wearing a figure-hugging dress — no visible bump in sight — and followers immediately questioned whether she had secretly given birth.
Her caption said she felt “grateful,” “happy,” and “very tired,” but fans read deeper into the tiredness.
Comments flooded in:
“Did Vanessa already give birth to baby number 2?”
“In her last posts she sounds exhausted — I think she had the baby!”
“Was baby born?”
The day earlier, she hinted at “mom life,” saying she had “no photos of myself recently,” which only fueled more theories.
The last time she visibly showed her bump was on November 10.
Vanessa and Tucker, 29, welcomed their first son in July 2024, though his name has not been shared publicly. They tied the knot in December 2023 and have been very private about family life ever since.
Their firstborn did briefly appear in a campaign for Cool Brands earlier this year, modeling baby products for Hudgens’ collaboration line.
Vanessa Opens Up About Motherhood Challenges
Speaking at the Narwal Summer Soiree in August, Hudgens joked that balancing two babies is basically impossible.
“Balance? I don’t know her,” she laughed. “Life is crazy and time is precious. I’m a person of extremes… maybe that’s balance?”
She said motherhood has taught her to slow down and stay present.
“It’s so easy to focus on the future. But what’s important is the moment right in front of you,” she explained.
Even with all the joy, she admits it’s exhausting.
“Being a mom is literally the most exhausting thing on the entire planet,” she said. “But I’m so grateful for anything that gives me time back.”
She even gave a shout-out to robot cleaning tech, joking it allows her to relax with Love Island instead of mopping floors after bedtime.
Now, with two little ones under two, that downtime is about to become even more precious — and probably even shorter.
