Internet Calls Tomi Lahren ‘Jealous’ after Host Says Taylor Swift’s NFL Coverage is ‘Destroying Football’

Tomi Lahren, host of ‘Tomi Lahren is Fearless’ and Fox News anchor, recently voiced her opinions on X, formerly known as Twitter, regarding Taylor Swift and her rumored relationship with NFL tight end Travis Kelce. This isn’t the first time Lahren has commented on the couple, having previously taken a jab at them after Kelce’s Pfizer advert.

Lahren expressed her thoughts on the extensive media coverage of Taylor Swift’s presence at the Kansas City Chiefs versus New York Jets game, where Swift was in attendance. According to BBC News, one week after Swift was spotted at a Kansas City Chiefs game watching Travis Kelce, she was seen “welcoming Kelce to New York as the Chiefs play the Jets, with Hollywood A-listers Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, and Hugh Jackman as her guests.”

Swift and Kelce, along with the NFL’s official account on X, garnered significant attention during the game, which prompted Lahren to comment on the situation. She wrote, “The wall-to-wall coverage of Taylor Swift at this game is annoying AF. I don’t even like football and I agree it’s destroying football. Just enough.”

While Tomi Lahren expressed her dissatisfaction with the extensive coverage of Taylor Swift, the internet had a different perspective, and many users criticized Lahren for her remarks.

One user responded, “It’s amazing how many inconsequential people are so jealous of Taylor Swift. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤡.” Another user mentioned, “Normally, I love your takes…On this one, I’m laughing at you…I watched the game, and loved it…Those complaining about @taylorswift13 are generally not football fans….Those of us who love the sport don’t care about her coverage and are happy she’s with Travis.”

Some users dismissed the issue entirely, with one writing, “It ain’t that deep,” and another stating, “Don’t you get tired with making everything about you? Your viewers will.”

Tomi Lahren continued to face backlash on X, with one user commenting, “Tomi is why we can’t have nice things,” and another finding humor in the situation, saying, “Ha ha ha I knew the jealousy would be eating away at you the most. It’s hilarious.”
