Louis Tomlinson recently had an unexpected “wedding” experience during his Faith in the Future tour in Jakarta, where a fan jokingly got him to sign a “marriage certificate.” The fan, who goes by @ladycryalot on TikTok, shared that she “went as a single woman” but left as Tomlinson’s “lawfully wedded wife.” When Tomlinson was asked to sign what he thought was a regular autograph, he jokingly questioned, “What’s this, some kind of declaration of marriage?” before signing the certificate.
Afterward, Tomlinson even quipped with another fan that he might have to return to Jakarta “if my wife wants me to.” The fan posted her experience online, showing the “marriage certificate” featuring a picture of the two of them, and excitedly declared, “I’m his wife, are you kidding me?”
While the “marriage” made for a funny moment, Indonesian marriage laws require an actual ceremony for official recognition. So, Tomlinson fans, there’s still hope!
