Charlie Kirk’s widow has shared a deeply personal handwritten note from her late husband just weeks after his shocking murder.
The 31-year-old conservative commentator and founder of Turning Point USA was fatally shot while speaking at Utah Valley University.
Police arrested 22-year-old Tyler Robinson after the attack, later charging him with seven offences, including aggravated murder.
Now, Kirk’s wife Erika has revealed one of his final love letters, showing a softer side of the often fiery activist.
She explained that despite his hectic travel schedule, Kirk wrote her a handwritten love note every Saturday without fail.
“He Never Missed One”
Posting the intimate message to Instagram, Erika wrote: “He never missed one. I share this to encourage others.”
She added that her husband’s letters always reflected his love for her, their family, and his unwavering faith in God.
The note, written in black pen, begins with Kirk reflecting on his spirituality.
“Oh Jesus is so inspiring and uplifting,” he wrote. “I am so thrilled to be on this journey with you.”
He praised his wife’s strength during their challenging family life, adding: “I know things can get hard with kids at home.”
“You do an amazing job balancing it,” Kirk continued. “I am so in love with you and want to serve you.”
He went on to thank Erika for standing by him through the chaos of public life.
The letter reads: “I pray God saves America and that we can play a small role in this in some way
“I know things can get very hard with kids at home, but you do an amazing job balancing it. I am so in love with you and want to serve you in any way I can. I love you!”
Balancing Faith, Family, And Politics
Kirk also shared his hopes for the country, tying his political mission to his personal devotion.
“I pray God saves America and that we can play a small role in this in some way,” he wrote.
Erika said the letters reveal a more tender side of the conservative leader, who was often combative in public debates.
She insisted she didn’t share the note to prove a point but to show how love can grow through tragedy.
“When your husband loves you as Christ loved the church, you respect him more deeply,” she told her followers.
Kirk’s sudden death left Erika to raise their young children — a son who turned one in May and a daughter who turned three in August.
Criticism And Strength
Since her husband’s death, Erika has stepped into a new role as CEO of Turning Point USA.
The move sparked backlash online, with critics claiming she returned to the spotlight too soon after losing her husband.
Others argued she should be focusing on her children rather than leading a national conservative organisation.
But Erika has firmly defended her choices. “There is no linear blueprint for grief,” she explained in another Instagram post.
At Kirk’s memorial service, held at Arizona’s State Farm Stadium, Erika stood alongside Donald Trump to honor her husband.
That public appearance also sparked debate, with some accusing her of being “too glamorous” in her grief.
Despite the criticism, Erika has chosen to continue her late husband’s mission while preserving his memory for their children.

“I’d give anything to have a Saturday breakfast with my husband asking how we can better serve one another for the week ahead…so if you’re reading this, and you have that blessing, please take advantage of it for me.” she wrote.
She added: “So I share this in hopes that today, husbands are encouraged to be even better husbands and wives are encouraged to be even better wives.”
Fans flooded Erika’s Instagram with support, praising her openness and strength in facing unimaginable heartbreak.
Love That Endures
For Erika, the letters are proof that grief doesn’t erase love — it deepens it.
“Love doesn’t ask to be healed,” she wrote. “Love asks to be remembered. And I will remember him always.”
She explained that even the darkest days have brought clarity. “The greater the suffering, the purer the love,” Erika shared.
Followers said her posts inspired them to cherish their relationships more and to find strength through faith and family.
She hopes her story will remind couples to prioritize one another, no matter the pressures of daily life.
As she put it simply: “When love is rooted in faith, it survives everything — even death.”
