Elon Musk Said He Eats a Donut Every Morning and is ‘Still Alive’

Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, has revealed that he indulges in a breakfast donut every day, despite acknowledging that sugar is a “slooow poison”.

The billionaire entrepreneur made the revelation in response to a tweet from Peter Diamandis, CEO of the non-profit organization XPRIZE, who had stated that “sugar is poison”. Musk replied, “I eat a donut every morning. Still alive.”

Musk’s tweet quickly went viral, with more than 11.4 million views at the time of writing.

This isn’t the first time Musk has spoken about his diet.

In a podcast with Joe Rogan in 2020, he declared, “I’d rather eat tasty food and live a shorter life.” He also admitted that he would not exercise at all if he could avoid it.

It remains unclear whether Musk’s diet has been influenced by his mother, Maye Musk, who is a former model and worked as a dietitian for 45 years.

According to CNBC, Musk’s mother has written a book titled “A Woman Makes a Plan: Advice for a Lifetime of Adventure, Beauty, and Success,” which includes some of her favorite recipes and tips for healthy eating.

Musk isn’t the only famous person with curious eating habits.

Former House Speaker, Rep. Nancy Pelosi, reportedly subsists on a diet of breakfast ice cream, hot dogs, pasta, and chocolate.

Meanwhile, former President Donald Trump is known for his love of fast food, and Amazon founder Jeff Bezos loves to start his day with octopus.

Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta, also has unique eating habits, preferring to eat meat from animals he’s killed himself.

Despite the health risks associated with a high-sugar diet, Musk’s daily donut habit has not seemed to affect his productivity or success in the tech industry…
