Ben Affleck recently shared a surprising revelation about his wife, Jennifer Lopez, during an appearance on Drew Barrymore’s talk show.
Affleck referred to Lopez as “superhuman” and revealed that she has the ability to eat whatever she wants without any consequences.
Affleck stated, “Let me tell you something that’s going to upset you. Jennifer just eats whatever she wants… Pizza, cookies, ice cream – everything.”
This confession left Barrymore astounded, prompting her to inquire how Lopez maintains her stunning appearance despite her indulgent eating habits.
Affleck explained that while exercise plays a role in Lopez’s physical fitness, it is not the sole factor. He emphasized the realness of her work ethic, discipline, and described her as having a superhuman quality. Affleck even went as far as proclaiming Lopez as “the most gorgeous woman in the world,” leaving Barrymore in awe.
Barrymore, clearly captivated by Affleck’s words, responded by saying she was swooning and living vicariously through the romantic admiration of men towards women.
Throughout her career, Lopez has consistently maintained that her beauty is natural. In 2021, she launched her own skincare brand called JLo Beauty and has been open about never having undergone Botox, injectables, or surgery. Instead, Lopez credits mantras and affirmations for her youthful appearance.
In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar in 2018, Lopez expressed the importance of affirmations, stating, “I am youthful and timeless. I tell myself that every day, a few times a day… Age is all in your mind.”
While Lopez embraces her age-defying mindset, someone like Jane Fonda may not share the same sentiment when compared to Lopez. However, Affleck, who appreciates and cherishes his revived romance with Lopez, considers himself fortunate to have been given a second chance.
Speaking to The Wall Street Journal in 2021, Affleck reflected on the value of second chances and expressed gratitude for the opportunity to make the most of them. He stated, “The one thing you really need… is the second chance. I’ve definitely tried to take advantage of that.”
