Rumer Willis is continuing to make fond memories with dad Bruce Willis.
The pregnant actress, 34, who is expecting her first baby with boyfriend Derek Richard Thomas, gathered with her family on Sunday to celebrate Bruce 68th birthday.
Attending the birthday celebrations was his closest family and friends, who shared snippets of the day on Instagram.
In a video uploaded by Rumer’s mom and Bruce’s ex wife, Demi Moore, the day looked full of love and smiles as everyone sang happy birthday and watched Bruce blow out his candles.
The soon to be mom shared a heartwarming snap to her Instagram story, taken from Bruce’s birthday celebrations, that shows her cuddling up to her dad, taken by step mom Emma Heming Willis.
Rumer also shared a sweet tribute on social media, showing her whole family, including mom Demi Moore, Bruce’s wife, Emma Heming Willis, and all her sisters, Tallulah Willis, 29, Scout Willis, 31, Evelyn Penn, 8, and Mabel Ray, 10, singing to the actor on his birthday.
The movie icon too seemed in high birthday spirits, dancing slightly and ending the video with a sweet kiss with his wife.
He sang along to a few of the words and talked to the other guests as he blew out the candles on his birthday pie.
“Happy Birthday Daddio I love you to the 🌙 You are so cool,” she wrote.
This comes after the family shared the devastating news that Willis had been diagnosed with a condition called Frontotemporal dementia, also known as FTD.
They shared a statement that said: “Since we announced Bruce’s diagnosis of aphasia in spring 2022, Bruce’s condition has progressed and we now have a more specific diagnosis: frontotemporal dementia (known as FTD).”
FTD, refers to a collection of disorders that primarily affect the frontal and temporal lobes of the brain. The diseases that fall under this umbrella are neurodegenerative, meaning they get worse over time.
