Millie Bobby Brown Turns Her Farmhouse Into A Rescue Centre For Over 230 Animals

Millie Bobby Brown Has Basically Built Her Own Animal Sanctuary — And It’s Adorable

Former child stars usually make headlines for chaos, scandals, or some shocking reality show appearance. But Millie Bobby Brown? She’s out here rescuing animals like it’s her full-time job.

Yep, the Stranger Things star has turned her farmhouse into a rescue haven — complete with farm animals, foster pups, cats, and even a blind dachshund who’s thriving like never before.

In a chat with BBC Radio 1, Millie casually dropped that she and her husband, Jake Bongiovi, now live with a lot of animals.

“I have 25 farm animals, and then I have 23 foster dogs, and then I have 10 dogs in my house that are my personal dogs, and four cats,” she said.

Yes. That’s 62 animals currently in her care. Sixty-two.

She’s only 21, starred in one of Netflix’s biggest shows ever, launched a beauty brand, and now she’s basically Dr Dolittle.

From Stranger Things to Saving Blind Dachshunds

Millie’s love for animals doesn’t come from Hollywood — it comes from growing up with very little. Now that she can help, she’s making up for lost time by giving stray and abandoned animals a second chance.

She even once brought a rescued lamb to the set of her latest film, The Electric State. It wore baby clothes and a nappy. Iconic.

Among her personal pets? A golden retriever, a Great Dane, a rottweiler, four cats, and a blind dachshund named Rigby — who might be the star of the whole story.

She found Rigby abandoned by the road and thought he wouldn’t last long.

“I took him thinking, ‘He’s not got long left, he’s blind, can’t find his way through,’” she said.

Her partner thought he’d only make it a few months. But Millie shut that down real quick.

“God, no! Rigby is on a year, and he is thriving – I mean killing it,” she said proudly.

Now, Rigby knows the house, hops on furniture, and has found “a new lease [on] life”.

“[He] knows where the food is… He’s getting really good,” she beamed.

And honestly? We’re rooting for him.

Donkeys, Coyotes, and a Pregnant Surprise

Millie’s rescue mission doesn’t stop at dogs and cats. She’s even got donkeys — originally brought in to protect her smaller pups from coyotes roaming near the property.

But she soon learned something wild.

“They will kill a dog if they see a dog,” she admitted. “The reason I got them is because I get coyotes, so I got a donkey to deter the coyotes from eating my little dogs.”

Well, those donkeys had plans of their own.

“My donkey is pregnant,” she revealed. “Betsy and Bernard got together, had a great night out, and now she’s preggers.”

Relatable.

Millie even used an ultrasound machine herself to confirm it.

“I saw ribs, and they weren’t Betsy’s.”

So yeah, her animal sanctuary is growing. Fast.

From abandoned dachshunds to donkey love stories, Millie Bobby Brown may have just become the most wholesome celebrity on Earth.

And honestly? We’re living for it.
