After going silent for months, Megan Fox has finally made an appearance on Instagram, but the photo she picked for her social media return has followers in a complete state of shock.
“I just gained so much respect for Megan posting this,” one fan wrote in the comment section of her latest post.
It comes after she reactivated her Instagram account to address her purported breakup with Machine Gun Kelly and labelling the online infidelity rumours “baseless.”
The first thing Fox did was delete all photos of herself and her fiancé Machine Gun Kelly from her social media accounts.
She subsequently posted a number of images, including one in which she was seen posing next to an unidentified man in what seemed to be a bathroom and another in which a letter was being burnt. She captioned the photographs with, “You can taste the dishonesty / it’s all over your breath.”
Fans should be well aware by now that Kelly and Fox weren’t quite the typical coupling.
The eccentric musician, who is responsible for hit tracks such as “Wild Boy” and “Till I Die,” started dating Fox a few months after she had separated from her husband of more than a decade, Brian Austin Green.
The pair met on the set of the indie flick, Midnight In The Switchgrass, in March 2020, and immediately hit it off. A source told E! News at the time that they had “been hanging out a lot since their movie was shut down,” and that “the downtime has been good for them… They are intrigued by each other and having a lot of fun.”
In their first joint interview together, Fox said she felt an “astrological connection” between them.
“I knew right away that he was what I call a twin flame,” she recalled. “Instead of a soul mate, a twin flame is actually where a soul has ascended into a high enough level that it can be split into two different bodies at the same time. So we’re actually two halves of the same soul, I think. And I said that to him almost immediately, because I felt it right away.”
Kelly and Fox then announced their engagement. Fox shared the exciting news on Instagram with a video of the special moment when Kelly got down on one knee.
Alongside the video, she shared a lengthy caption revealing details about their relationship, writing: “In July of 2020 we sat under this banyan tree. We asked for magic.”
“We were oblivious to the pain we would face together in such a short, frenetic period of time. Unaware of the work and sacrifices the relationship would require from us but intoxicated off of the love. And the karma.”
“Somehow a year and a half later, having walked through hell together, and having laughed more than I ever imagined possible, he asked me to marry him,” she continued.
“And just as in every lifetime before this one, and as in every lifetime that will follow it, I said yes… and then we drank each other’s blood.”
However, earlier this year, fans became aware that their relationship isn’t going so smoothly, as Fox deleted her photos of MGK before deactivating her Instagram account.
This obviously led people to believe there was some sort of infidelity going on behind the scenes.
She also followed 3 male celebrities Harry Styles, Timothée Chalamet, and Eminem, who MGK famously released a diss track about.
However, Fox then reactivated her account to put the cheating rumours to bed.
“There has been no third party interference in this relationship of any kind. That includes, but is not limited to…actual humans, DMs, AI bots or succubus demons,” Fox wrote.
“While I do hate to rob you of running random baseless news stories that would have been much more accurately written by ChatGPT, you need to let this story die and leave all of these innocent people alone now.”
Since then, Fox’s Instagram was pretty quiet, up until 2 weeks ago when she shared a selection of red carpet shots after gracing the cover of Sports Illustrated.
Fox has truly come back with an epic post that has some followers going completely nuts.
She revealed that she has coloured her recognisable dark hair a stunning red shade in a selfie on the beach and a smart yet skimpy black bikini photo.
Fans have been complimenting the star for her somewhat suggestive photo in the comments section.
“LET ME BREATHE DAMNIT,” one fan wrote.
Another commented: “You have no business being this smoking hot and beautiful lol.”
A third wrote: “Damn gurl, I’m gay but you are on fire.”
