Kate Middleton’s Shocking Baby News

Everyone knows the Royal family, especially Prince William and Kate Middleton.

With Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex’s memoir Spare recently being published, the royals are rarely out of the headlines.

However, this time it’s not because of something Prince Harry revealed in his book, and instead, a new publication concerning the history of the Royal Family, titled Gilded Youth: An Intimate History of Growing Up in the Royal Family has got people talking.

The book, written by Tom Quinn, was released in February this year, and has revealed unknown secrets about the royals, and has shocked fans with an insight into Prince William and Kate’s journey to becoming parents.

Things could have turned out very different for the couple.

Will and Kate have been married since April 29, 2011, and have 3 beautiful children together, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. Around 1,900 people attended the pair’s wedding, for which a special eight-tier cake was commissioned and a public holiday was declared in the country.

However, it wasn’t always like this for the couple, and as Quinn’s book discloses, the couple had to go through a lot before tying the knot.

Since Prince William had chosen a bride outside of royalty, the new book claimed that the protocol included some unusual requirements.

A test of whether Kate could bear children was apparently among the couple before they married, however it’s said that these are always carried out to ensure the future queen can carry children.

Tom writes: “These are always carried out to ensure a future queen is able to have children. If Kate had not been fertile, there is little doubt the marriage would have been off.”

Hello Magazine also reported that Princess Diana had to go through the same medical tests before her wedding to Charles in 1981.

Referring to Princess Diana, he continued: “Diana complained in a brief encounter with the present author that she had in all innocence thought her premarital check-ups had to do with general health, only realising later on that she had actually been tested for fertility. ‘I was so innocent I just went along with everything at that stage,’ she said.”

Readers have been left shocked to find out Kate went through this before getting married, and have been left wondering what would’ve been the case if she didn’t pass the fertility test.
