Johnny Depp’s Ex-Wife Says She Would do ‘Things’ to Amber Heard as Payback, if it Were Legal

Lori Allison, Johnny Depp’s former wife, has expressed her unwavering support for the actor amidst following his defamation trial against Amber Heard.

Allison, who was married to Depp in 1983 and divorced two years later, has remained close to him and recently shared her thoughts on the trial.

Last year, a jury found that Heard’s claims about Depp in a 2018 op-ed piece for The Washington Post, where she accused him of domestic abuse, were defamatory, and awarded Depp $15 million in damages.

In a countersuit, Heard was also awarded $2 million in damages.

In 2020, Depp had lost a libel case in the UK against The Sun newspaper, which had labeled him a “wife beater.”

Speaking to Popcorned Planet, the 65-year-old Allison revealed that seeing her ex-husband in court “broke her heart” and left her “terrified” that he might lose the case.

She recalled having met Heard before and attending parties at Depp’s house where Heard seemed “nice” and “gorgeous.

However, over time, Allison heard things about Heard that made her question her initial impression of her.

“The things that affected me more were the things he said in court – I probably broke down several times because I felt really bad for him,” said Allison. “He’s very private – which is why I don’t do interviews – and I think for him to come out so wholeheartedly was what he really needed to do. I thought it was either going to be an epic train wreck or it was going to go really well.”

Allison then condemned Heard’s actions as “absolutely horrific” and revealed her own feelings of anger towards her.

“I’ve done my share of s**tty things to people, but what she did was on another level. If there were things that I could do to her that were legal, I would do them,” Allison declared.

Heard had filed an appeal against the verdict of the defamation trial but ultimately settled the matter with Depp in December, agreeing to pay him $1 million.

She claimed that it was “not an act of concession” and described the decision as “very difficult.” She also reiterated that she never chose to be in this situation.

Allison’s unwavering support for Depp and her condemnation of Heard’s actions come amidst a highly publicized and contentious legal battle between the former couple.

The trial and its aftermath have garnered significant attention from the media and the public alike, with passionate opinions on both sides. As the legal proceedings continue, the public will undoubtedly be keeping a close eye on the developments in this high-profile case.
