Jameson, accompanied by her partner’s father, walked down the aisle to the tune of Johnny Cash’s “Ring of Fire,” evoking sentimental nostalgia. In a departure from the traditional Elvis Presley impersonators often seen in Vegas weddings, the couple chose a Cash lookalike to officiate their union.
Following the ceremony, Jameson took to Twitter to announce their marriage and express her love for Lawless, hinting at her intention to adopt her new wife’s surname. The couple intends to host a larger, more extravagant wedding celebration in the future but wanted to seize the moment and embrace the spontaneous nature of their initial union.
In an interview with People, Lawless shared a heartfelt account of their wedding day, revealing that her father stepped in to walk Jameson down the aisle in honor of her late father. Lawless recounted the emotional moment, saying, “I was standing up there waiting for her, and I looked at the back of the church and I saw her standing there. I looked at my dad and said, ‘Dad, go walk Jenna down the aisle right now.'”
