Police have released terrifying bodycam footage of the moment officers took out took out mass shooter Audrey Hale in response to a school shooting in Nashville.
The attack took place at the private Christian school, The Covenant School.

The shooter has been named as 28 year-old Audrey Hale, who was shot dead at the scene. They identified as male, and were a former student of the school.
Tragically, three pupils aged nine, and three adults were killed before the shooter was stopped. The victims have been identified as Evelyn Dieckhaus, Hallie Scruggs, and Williams Kinney, as well as Mike Hill, 61, Cynthia Peak, 61, and Katherine Koonce, 60.
Footage from from Officer Rex Engelbert’s bodycam has now been released. It showed Englebert and officer Michael Collazo rushing towards an atrium on the second floor of the academy while repeatedly shouting “shots fired.”
Hale was shooting at the officers, before he dropped to the ground after being shot.
The cops then cautiously approach, shouting “don’t move” and “get your hands away from the gun.”
Hale was armed with two rifles and a handgun, and was subsequently killed in the shootout.
The footage has since been shared by the New York Post.
It has since been reported that Hale had a manifesto and detailed maps of the school, and entered the building by shooting through its doors before the killings.

The shooter was also being treated for an emotional disorder — and had hidden her cache of weapons from her parents, the police chief said.
It was added that the cops “knew nothing about the treatment.”
The police chief did not elaborate on what kind of emotional disorder.
