Bam Margera’s brother Jess recently spoke out about the events that led to the Jackass star being on the run from the police.
According to reports, an arrest warrant was issued for Margera after he allegedly punched his brother in the face during a domestic dispute at their home in Philadelphia.
In a series of tweets, Jess shared his account of what happened and expressed his concern for his brother’s well-being.
Jess claimed that Bam had kicked open his locked bedroom door before attacking him in the kitchen.
He also revealed that Bam had been acting erratically and appeared to be under the influence of drugs.
“Seeing him screaming at a person that wasn’t there, hallucinating. It’s really scary and heartbreaking,” Jess said. “His gf has her phone, I’m obviously very worried about Bam but I’m extremely worried about that there is an 8 year old child with them. I can’t even imagine the environment in that car right now.”
Jess also criticized the police’s handling of the situation, stating that he was able to track his own lightbulbs and car with ease, yet the police seemed unable to locate his brother.
He described the incident as “a guy (me) just waking up and making coffee and then being attacked by a wild animal (Bam) for reasons I still don’t really understand.”
According to court documents, Bam has been charged with simple assault, harassment, and four counts of terroristic threats.
The documents also allege that Bam had left a threatening note for his brother, warning him not to call the police.
Bam has not yet commented on the incident, and it is unclear whether he has obtained legal representation.
This is not the first time that Bam has been in trouble with the law.
Last month, he was arrested for public intoxication at a restaurant in Los Angeles.
Footage of the incident showed him yelling and throwing open the door before sitting on the pavement outside the restaurant while an officer spoke to him.
Jess’s tweets shed light on a troubling situation and highlight the need for support for individuals struggling with addiction and mental health issues.
